About the Foundation
The Peter Tabichi Foundation (PTF) is a Kenya-based education organisation working to strengthen teaching and learning through practical, teacher-led improvement.
PTF works from the belief that teachers are not only implementers of education reform, but also important sources of practical knowledge about what can improve learning in real classrooms. The Foundation creates opportunities for teachers to identify, test, strengthen and share promising practice while building evidence about what works and under what conditions.

What Guides Our Work
TichaCraft — PTF's Flagship Work
TichaCraft is the flagship teacher-led Evidence-to-Scale model of the Peter Tabichi Foundation. It helps identify promising classroom practice, strengthen and test it, support replication across classrooms, and use evidence to inform wider learning and adoption where appropriate.
Through TichaCraft, PTF seeks to help useful classroom practice move beyond the teacher or classroom where it began.
Governance & Accountability
The Peter Tabichi Foundation operates under rigorous governance frameworks designed to ensure transparency, compliance, and responsible stewardship across all activities. Our board and advisory panels maintain strict oversight of operational practices, partnership agreements, and resource distribution.
Every project and testing cycle is subject to clear reporting protocols, independent financial reviews, and open evaluation mechanisms. We hold our organization to the highest standards of accountability to honor the trust placed in us by teachers, community partners, and education partners.
